The Entry Level Range is designed for very low cost security and surveillance applications.

The transmission range of these devices can be within a range of 100 metres within buildings or if the area between the receiver and transmitter is obstructed.

The frequencies used are close to commercial frequencies, therefore, in certain circumstances.the transmissions may not be private.

The frequency of transmitters and receivers is not crystal controlled ; so over time , the exact frequency can vary and possible retuning of receivers may be required.

Room transmitters monitor individual rooms.
Telephone transmitters monitor a single analogue phone line (do not function on PABX/ internal company phone systems, use a room transmitter instead).
Mains transmitters can be fitted inside equipment such as lamps or can be bought prepackaged as a power adaptor or replacement wall socket.

The kits provide an all in one solution with a storage/carry case.

For precise transmission frequencies, higher transmission range and to keep away from the reception ability of normal radios use The Mid Range Audio equipment.

Counter Measures
The GSM Infinity Transmitter is very difficult to discover. Many Electronic Counter Measures devices will not detect GSM and those than can will find it virtually impossible to isolate one signal from thousands of (apparently similar) communications.

If the GSM Infinity Transmitter were to be discovered by the opposition, its purpose will be difficult to recognise but even if identified, it will not disclose who has been listening and recording or their location.

If an adversary can gain access to the network provider's technical facilities (lines, switching exchanges, base stations), he will then be able to listen in to your conversations. This applies to connections both in the mobile communication network and in the landline network. Micro-wave links, on which transmission is normally effected unencrypted, can be intercepted with a moderate amount of technical effort. If the calls are connected over line-connected paths from the base station to the mobile switching centre ( MSC) , a physical attack on the cable paths is necessary. If a base station is connected to the switching node over an unencrypted micro-wave link, as is normally the case, it is possible to intercept and tap these radio signals unnoticed using antennae and special receivers. The threat is all the greater if all phone calls for the connected base station are transmitted over these micro-wave links. Additionally Special technical systems exist which exploit the weakness of one-sided authentication in the GSM network. The only Authentication which takes place is the authentication of the mobile phone to the base station. The mobile does no authentication of base stations, which means eavesdroppers are able to pretend to mobile phones to be a base station and extract subscriber data from the GSM SIM as well as disable encryption during calls.
